las aves de tienen pico, 
ni las mariposas coloridas, 
ni la noche de luna llena 
en su soledad profunda; 
mas prevalece la belleza 
en todo lo que existe: 
soy feliz por estar triste…</p>

<p>Hay belleza 
en la grama seca como en la grama fresca y verde. 
en las nubes que fluctúan traendo la vil tormenta 
como en las nubes que sólo se pasean por el cielo…
Hay belleza en un arbusto ramoso de pocasa hojas 
como en uno que es señorial y de basto colorido…
Hay belleza en la soledad vinculada a los desiertos
como en el paisaje repetitivo que dan los bosques…</p>

<p>Hay belleza en las mil lágrimas 
proferidas sobre aquella lápida
ya que una vez vacía mi jarra 
se llenó de una ironía apacible
“que soy feliz estando triste”, 
que hay bellaza en este mundo 
cuan sobre fango nadara un cisne.</p>

<p>Y hay aún mas belleza 
que roza lo mortificante 
en los ojos alicaídos 
de una damisela triste…</p>
